Event History

This event was created to never forget our lost loved ones and friends - Bob Nagy, Dan Nagy, Jim Wehr & Mike Wraalstad. Please join us as we remember these men who will always remain in our hearts forever.

The Flying with the Eagle Ride began back in 2005 in honor of former Spancrete president Robert H. Nagy after his passing in early 2004. New this year, The Always in our Hearts Ride was created in memory of employees Dan Nagy, Jim Wehr and Michael Wraalstad. This year a joint ride was held on July 14th, 2006. Nearly, $6,400 was raised for the Robert H. Nagy Foundation which supports local charitable causes including the Boys & Girls Clubs, the American Heart Association and the Boy Scouts of America.

The day-long, poker-run style ride took 150 motorcycle riders from Spancrete corporate headquarters in Waukesha, Wis., through the Kettle Moraine area in southeastern Wisconsin. Several stops were planned along the way with the event concluding with dinner and live entertainment at Lakeview Lanes in Pewaukee, Wis. The large group of riders was made up of Spancrete employees, customers, vendors and family and friends of the men honored in the ride. Together, the memorial riders were thanked and saluted by people all along the route and finally greeted by a full house of non-riders at the reception.

We thank the countless employees, vendors and family members who have also been keys to the success of the event. Last, but not least we thank all of the RIDERS.

Thank you goes out to everyone that supported this event and for remembering Bob Nagy, Dan Nagy, Jim Wehr and Mike Wraalstad.
