Daniel Nagy
Dan was the grandson of Henry Nagy, the founder of The Spancrete Group, Inc., where he was Vice President of Business Development and and Secretary of the Board. Dan was a "hands-on" employee who came up through the ranks. Spancrete was a great part of Dan's life - he loved the company and all of the employees. He was very proud of the company and wanted to continue to be a part of making the company successful. He enjoyed visiting the various locations and taking time to talk to each and every employee. He asked employees not only about their work but about their families.
Dan's main passion was his family. He was a devoted family man and loved his wife Colleen. He was a loving father to both McKenna and Andrew. There couldn't be a better father. Dan deeply loved his mother and father and his brother John and sister Wendy and their families. He enjoyed spending as much time with family and friends on the lake whenever he had a chance.
Dan was a very vibrant person and lived life to its fullest. He had a multitude of passions. An avid outdoorsman, Dan had a tremendous love of fishing and hunting, especially with his dog, Cody. Dan was an All-American Alpine ski racer. He enjoyed windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, flying and riding his Harley. Earning his pilot's license was his latest joy. But nothing was better than being behind the wheel of his Stars and Stripes Mastercraft…son Andrew in his lap, fighting to take control of the wheel.
